What are the requirements to take the dental assisting course?

You must 18 years old and have a high school or GED diploma.

How long is the course?

Our course is 4-5 weeks depending on holidays and class size. We have an extra week built in to each course.

What is the cost of the course?

$4299 if paid in full. We have financing options available.

Do you offer financing?

We do! We have a 12 or 18 month financing option that requires a minimum of $500 down payment.

Do you accept FAFSA, financial aid, or grants?

We do not.

How do I enroll in your course?

Fill out an application found here and we will reach out for further instructions.

What happens after I submit my application?

We will schedule a tour to show you the school and answer any questions in person. All students will receive an email 2 weeks prior to the first day with all course information.

How do I pay for my tuition?

You will receive a link for payment via email 2 weeks prior to your first day.

If I choose financing, how do I make my monthly payment?

We will collect card information on your first day of class and an auto draft will be set up for a monthly payment withdrawal.

How many hours does the Board of Dentistry require to be a registered dental assistant?

116 hours and 14 hours in radiology. Our class has built in hours to account for an absence if needed.

How many classes are offered per year?

We have a new class approximately every 6 weeks

What is the address of the school?

1540 Rock Springs Road, Smyrna, TN 37167. This is our only location.

What are the steps after we graduate from the program?

After you have completed the dental assisting course, you will have to apply to the TN Board of Dentistry to become an RDA via an application. We walk you through this entire process so that your application is completed and ready to send on graduation day.

What are the in person days/hours?

We have in person class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. We also schedule some Saturday classes as needed and those hours are typically 8 am – 1 pm.

Do you offer job placement assistance?

We do. We walk you through the steps of building a resume as well as building profiles on dentalpost.net and Indeed. We can assist with setting up interviews at our 7 offices across Tennessee as well as any offices that contact us with job openings.
